Webcast Help (Technical)
Please check your bandwidth and Flash settings before attending webcasts of choosefreely.com. If your browser does not accept cookies, you will not be able to get into the webcast.
Bandwidth
Webcasts from choosefreely.com use a bandwidth of approximately 300kb/s (kilobit per second) or 0.3Mb/s (Megabit per second) or 320/8=40kB/s (kiloByte per second). Servers from ustream.tv are used. Ustream is based in Palo Alto (CA,USA). Check your bandwidth from a server in that neighbourhood (eg San Fransisco CA,USA). So if your measured bandwidth is higher, you should not encounter problems.

Please assure that your computer is not doing big downloads during the webcast as this eats from your download budget.

The yellow marked option is important. If the security settings on your computer are too rigid, you might have problems gettings in the chat. For people interested in privacy, flash also saves your visited sites, and has its own cookies system.

We use cookies for our webcast login. In order to get into the webcast, the browser must accept cookies. Our cookie for the login is called "friend" and is active for one day.
